Ashley Sisson is a fitness enthusiast who became a certified personal trainer while receiving her B.S. in Pre-Physical Therapy from Loyola Marymount University. Before earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mount St. Mary’s in Los Angeles, she was the General Manager of a nationwide corporate gym. She is a licensed physical therapist in the state of Arizona and an ASTYM certified provider.
Ashley appreciates a patient centered approach to physical therapy focusing on patient’s goals, manual therapy, functional movement, and corrective exercise. She enjoys treating the various orthopedic injuries but has a special interest in functional exercise, sports related injuries, and injury prevention.
Ashley has a passion for youth sports injury prevention and has directed pre-season strength and conditioning programs for a youth football team. She is currently focusing her spare time on youth sports performance and injury prevention programming in the greater Phoenix community.
Ashley was a standout high school and club soccer player, before multiple knee injuries ended her career. She has no regrets as her rehab experiences introduced and sparked her interest in physical therapy. She enjoys all outdoor activities and attending any sporting events. In her spare time she enjoys running and training for marathons, biking, playing soccer, cooking, hiking, snowboarding, golfing, watching football, traveling the world.
